“The thrift store crowd is highly diverse,” says Sanne. “We see budget conscious shoppers: from students to families. But we also get plenty of environmentally conscious shoppers and fashionistas looking for a vintage dress. In the summer, interest peaks in outdoor furniture and second-hand bikes.”
Music as an expression of personality
The 11 Kringwinkel shops in Antwerp all use Tunify. “We let the different shops select their own playlists; after all, no two thrift stores are the same,” says Sanne. “They all have their own unique personality and we think it’s important to let that personality shine through, even in their choice of music. We used to play the same music everywhere and I received regular phone calls about this. Whereas one might want more cheerful music, the other was interested in something a bit more easy listening. Since we started using Tunify Blue, I haven’t heard a single complaint.”

Audio ads for theme days and campaigns
When De Kringwinkel Antwerp was looking for a way to play audio ads in all of its shops at the same time, Tunify turned out to be the perfect partner.
